A Season of Reflection & Bold Intention is this year's theme for our 2026 National Gathering.
Join us in Detroit where fiscal sponsors come together to share information on fiscal sponsorship practice, learn from each other and experts, discuss challenges - and also celebrate successes, share stories, and build relationships. This year we'll learn more about the fiscal sponsorship landscape in the Detroit region, talk about the future of fiscal sponsorship and host a variety of sessions for both emerging and experienced fiscal sponsors.

Registration Information

With this event, we are intentionally trying to make this a more equitable space where smaller organizations have the same access as larger ones, so registration is based on the overall revenue size of your organization, arranged in four (4) tiers.
The deadline for registration is September 1.

Tier 1 - Fiscal Sponsor Org - Less than $2M
Tier 2 - Fiscal Sponsor Org - $2M - 9.9M
Tier 3 - Fiscal Sponsor Org - $10M - 49M
Tier 4 - Fiscal Sponsor Org - $50M and up

The registration fee includes all sessions, provided meals, and networking happy hours. Registration does not include transportation to and from the venue or lodging.
Transportation & Lodging in Detroit

We have a large room block at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, where all of the Gathering will take place. Please reserve your room by September 1. Reserve at our discounted rates on Passkey.
Check in is 4:00pm and Check out is 11:00am.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival. Please note that we will assess a one-night fee if you cancel after the deadline.
There is a hotel restaurant and bar, Fuell and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Motor City Pantry is open from 6 AM–12 AM for grab and go options. Illy Cafe is open from 6 AM–1 PM (coffee, breakfast, sandwiches).

$14.95 a day. Complimentary Basic Internet in guest rooms with individual Bonvoy membership. You can join at Join Marriott Bonvoy, it is free to join!

It is recommended to park in the Beaubien Garage (on Beaubien) next to the hotel, which offers in and out privileges to guests for a flat rate of $25/day which can be charged to guestrooms. Valet parking is available for $30daily/$40 overnight.

The Detroit People Mover – A free tram system with various stops around the Detroit downtown area. There is an interactive map on the website and each stop lists shops and restaurants accessible from there.
Q Line – A 3.3-mile circulating streetcar running along Woodward Avenue between Congress Street and West Grand Boulevard in downtown Detroit. The QLine stretches from downtown through New Center and drops you off near prime locations, including: Little Caesars Arena, The Detroit Institute of Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Headways ranging from 8 to 12 minutes. The streetcar route has 20 stations serving 12 locations.
