March 1: Leadership Transition & Leadership Models

Leadership transitions are critical to the survival of any organization. With the scope of work that fiscal sponsors and their projects oversee, leadership transitions are especially important and can be even more complex. NNFS Steering Committee members Thaddeus Squire, Chief Commons Steward of Social Impact Commons and Polly Riddims, Board Member and former Co-Managing Partner of Fusion Partnerships will talk about their own experiences with leadership transition and share some of their key learnings when preparing and making those transitions -- including how different leadership models may support the process.

March 8: Racial Equity in the Fiscal Sponsorship Sector

For fiscal sponsors, addressing racial equity takes many forms. NNFS Steering Committee members Arun Prabhakaran of Urban Affairs Coalition, Elaine Ng of TSNE, and Kathleen Flynn of New Venture Fund will share their organizations’ journeys with racial equity both within their organizations and the communities they serve, showing the different ways you can integrate racial equity into your work.

March 15: Sponsors in Conversation: Community Initiatives and the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center

Join us as we welcome Brandy Shah, Legal Director, and Audrey Roderick, Sr Client Services Manager at Community Initiatives and Angela Schreffler, Chief Operating Officer, and Nicki Leszman, Senior Program Manager, of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC) about how their practices have grown and evolved over the last 25 years. They will share some of the strategic decisions that their programs have made over the years and how their fiscal sponsorship programs function today.
