Looking Forward to a Season of Reflection & Bold Intention with the 2026 National Gathering
What a year we have had. How do we stay focused and hopeful when every time we open our emails or check our social media there is something else that demands our attention.
Last year’s theme centered on advancing our collective power through Radical Connection—Resilience, Innovation, and Solidarity. And while staying connected remains essential, this year has shown us new and urgent ways we turn toward one another for support, especially as new bills are proposed and our sector continues to face ongoing challenges.
This year as we gathered around selecting a theme, we opened and embraced ourselves to the season we’re in. We are entering a powerful moment of reflection across cultures and traditions. The Year of the Fire Horse had just began; a time for energy known for boldness, speed, independence, and transformation. At the same time, Lent and Ramadan invite us into spiritual discipline, renewal, sacrifice, and devotion. With Saturn and Neptune moving into Aries, we are witnessing signals of new beginnings, deeper social consciousness, and renewed connection.
Regardless of our beliefs or traditions, this was a collective invitation to pause, reflect, and realign. We spent our time together journaling on this time period and reaching out to our ancestors for guidance. We reflected on; How can I redirect my energy toward service, compassion, or care? What is the one clear goal I will focus on this year? What does “freedom” look like for me in 2026? How can I protect my peace and energy so I don’t burn out?
What bold action am I finally brave enough to take?
Sharing a collective breath we shared what came up to us and how our experience has been this past year and what we like to manifest.
We invite you to join us in this reflection. To embrace the energy of this moment. To pause, listen, and realign with your own intentions.
