2022 Deep Equity Conference Support Grant Program
***Please note that this grant program is now closed for the year.***

The National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, with generous support from members, sponsors, and donors, is pleased to announce a grant program for fiscal sponsors who center equity in their program. For the purpose of this grant program and noting that our definition is evolving, we define “deep equity fiscal sponsors” as organizations, often led by Black, Indigenous or other people of color, that center lived experience and community connections. They have and act on an explicit commitment to advancing racial equity, serve groups who share that commitment, and provide services with a culturally relevant approach aligned with that commitment.
These grants are intended to provide an opportunity for deep equity fiscal sponsors with smaller budgets, who might not otherwise be able to send staff to attend the NNFS 2022 National Gathering. The National Gathering will be held October 27 – 28, 2022 in San Diego, CA. More information can be found here.
Support for this grant program has been provided by the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, New Venture Fund, Social Impact Commons, and TSNE
Support grants will be $2,000 to cover expenses associated with attendance at the National Gathering. We will award only one grant per organization applying. However, an organization can use the funds however they feel most useful, including sending more than one person to the conference. (Please note that you will be responsible for handling your own conference registration if you receive a grant.)

We will begin reviewing applications on Sept. 16, 2022, and grants will be awarded as eligible applications are received until funds are expended, so please submit as soon as possible. Notifications will begin on Sept. 19, 2022.
